Can I Write For You?

Hello there and welcome to this post. The goal of this post is to show prospective future clients how I write and in what style I am familiar with. I, unfortunately, do not have many writing samples in the world so this is one of them that will have to do.

Can I write for you? Of course, I can. All I need for you to do is reach out to me and hire me. I will be the first to admit I am new in this space but if it is one thing I absolutely can do is write for you. I have written some things already they are just ghost-written articles and I am not allowed to claim any credit so to be safe here is a writing sample all my own.

Now I know you may be skeptical about hiring someone new to writing. I would be too. However if I could encourage you to read on, I hope to change your mind. So let’s dive into that, shall we?

Prior Experience

My experience in freelance writing actually stems back a couple of years now. I have only been dabbling in it and been using a website called Upwork. I have decided that this is a step I want to take and am looking to step away from Upwork and stand alone.

I have written for many niches as I am unsure what niche I fall into or could write for. I hope to figure this out one day but for now, I like to consider myself a generalist. My preferred blog posts or content writing is anywhere between 1500 to 3000 words. I also enjoy writing question like posts, general reviews, product descriptions, and informative posts, or how-tos.

I mainly have only ghostwritten so I don’t have much to show but I will include links to work I have done. Please feel free to visit these websites that further showcase my ghostwriting work:

These are just some articles I have written. Now they are ghostwritten and I am not trying to claim any “credit” or anything else from them I simply want you to see my writing that is out there hidden behind other names. All of these originals are still in my Google Docs.

My hope is that I won’t get into any trouble for sharing these but it is important to me to showcase my work somehow and my experience. So if your reading this and I used one of the articles I wrote for you as an example my apologies again I am only showing my work and trying to build a life elsewhere just like you are doing. I hope you can forgive me and maybe even hire me again. Any future articles I do that are ghostwritten will remain hidden unless my client says otherwise. Speaking of my inexperience, however, let’s move on to my next section.

New Is Not A Bad Thing

Even though I have writing and dabbling with freelancing for a couple of years I still feel really new to the whole thing. There are many things I haven’t done like invoicing, pitching, cold emails, etc, etc. I haven’t had to do many of these because I have used Upwork for almost everything I have done.

Part of me wants to start having work with my name out there and the other part of me is tired of working for pennies when I could work for at least nickels haha. More seriously however I do want to gain some real clients and some real business professional relationships. With all that said I hope whoever is reading this is ready to build a long-term working relationship because that is what I am after and am willing to work towards. I want to see you succeed, so I succeed, and everyone we come into contact with succeeds too.

New is not a bad thing because I can shape myself into what you need. I don’t have years of preconceived ways of doing things that will make me less compliant or not want to try things in a new way. Everything is new to me and I look forward to learning your way of doing things. I hope to always stay new but to become a knowledgeable newbie one day.

SEO: Search Engine Optimization

Now, this is a topic that comes up quite often. I will not say I am an expert in SEO but I have written with keywords and met certain requirements before. I just have had the help of SEOSurfer to do that with. One of my clients I write for uses only that and it has been great at teaching me how to use keywords.

With all that said however I am and will readily admit I am still new to SEO. I can write great content and I am a quick learner so I don’t foresee this as always being a problem but I would be lying if I didn’t tell you, my future clients, that I do not have a great handle on it yet.

I will continue to learn however and I would still love to write for you. No matter what I mess up on or how many times I need to revise I will pour as much SEO into that as I possibly can for you. As a bonus, if your a client that is willing to help me learn SEO better I will happily learn. I love to learn I will never stop and just because I lack in this area I won’t let it stop me from succeeding in writing for you or anyone.

Conclusion

Well, there you have it. This is my blog post introducing my writing style and my intent. I hope that you found it entertaining and decent enough to at least reach out and talk about any opportunities you may have. I can write personal, professional, and calm/relaxed. There are many things I haven’t wrote about yet and would love to. No matter what lead you to me, please reach out neither one of us knows what will follow but we will never know unless we try!
